Obama, His BlackBerry, and Meat

With India’s success of launching a rover to the moon, now they put effort into making their own version of Google Earth. It will generate clearer images and zoom into a distance of 10m. But it will cover only India and is free to download from the web. If India really thinks people will use their web application for use, I suggest they should do the map of the whole entire world. It’s a long process, but well worth it. Actually it’s not. India should first fix the poverty issue before resuming in the space competition between China and Japan.

Red meat is essentially bad for your health, mainly because U.S. researchers say that a molecule introduced through eating red meat could promote tumor growth. It’s called N-glycolylneuraminic acid (Neu5Gc), a form of glycan, or sugar molecule which humans do not produce. The body then develops anti-Neu5Gc antibodies which can then lead to chronic inflammation. Tumor tissues contain much more Neu5Gc than found in human tissue, which is why researchers theorized that red meat can spur cancer growth.

With that being said, in a course of a 30-year analysis show that unhappy people watch more TV. It also show that people watch more TV during bad times than when it is a good time. Happy people spend a lot of their time socializing, doing religious services, voted more and read more. Then again, unhappy people watch more TV in their spare time. In fact depressed people watch 20% more TV. Unhappy people are happy with watching television because they don’t have to go through much of a hassle because they just have to stay in one place. TV is addicting to watch; addicting activities produce short-term pleasure, but long-term misery and regret.

Along with Obama’s victory, he has to say goodbye to his BlackBerry. Now that showed up pretty unexpectedly. Obama, like a few other people, has this bond between his BlackBerry, and he has to break this bond or else he will also be the first e-mailing president. But the chances of that are low. He will be forced to sign off before taking office in the White House. This is kind of hard; mainly because his phone number changed, so his BlackBerry would be the only way to keep in touch with friends. Obama also had his BlackBerry for over eight years and e-mails his friends a lot.
