Money Bags

Many people laid down their lives to prove a point. Over half failed, though. Today we have six people (douche-bags) who attempted this. Franz Reichelt tried to prove that he was different and that gravity did not apply to him. So he made a specific type of clothing that would help you float to the ground. What he actually proved is Newton’s Law of Universal Gravitation—More specifically, that you would die no matter what when you jump from a height of more than 20 feet. Our fifth person is a Japanese Kabuki actor who thought he was invincible, and tried proving it with poison. So he went to a restaurant with a bunch of friends and called for some fugu livers, a very poisonous fish. So he ordered four, and ate them. Seven hours later, he died. This next person was actually a lawyer who tried to prove that high rise glass is unbreakable. And a little bit of getting respect from interns. There he was, standing on the 24th floor. He slammed against the window, and it didn’t break. So he ran 30 feet and launched himself like Superman, and went right through the window. Then he smacked the shit out of himself. It proved that he was an asshole. He also proved that it was unbreakable, though. The window pane popped out of the frames of the building, that’s all. Now this is probably the dumbest two people. They tried to prove that they can beat the high scores of the 80’s arcade games. So they played day after day. They were the best, but not for long. They both died of a heart attack shortly after.

We are still on the same subject, except I need a new paragraph for the other half. So our second one is a woman who lead a normal life. Then a radio contest came out, and the objective was to consume a vast amount of water, and hold it. She tried proving that radio contests weren’t dumb enough to kill you and she was in for a Nintendo Wii. Then she died of a condition called water intoxication; when you have an imbalance of electrolytes in your brain. Then, everyone at the radio station was fired; and she didn’t even win the prize. Then came this man who said he didn’t need America’s materialism and the propaganda to live, so he took off to the Alaskan wilderness. Personally, I would like to do that, but this man took nothing except the clothes on his back. I would’ve taken a knife, a compass, and flint for making fire (Bear Grylls style) and an extra backpack. Although many people feel sad for this tragic event, many Alaskans say that he forgot his compass, map, and common sense. He also didn’t have the skills to survive in the wild, an ability that flickers in our body and is about to die out soon (like 20 years or so). In fact, a park ranger said that what he did was stupid. He was just committing suicide.

And this sounds weird, but an elderly woman was found living with her siblings who have died at least 20 years ago. One of them was last seen alive in the 1980’s. Investigation started today.

A man also found $182,000 in his bathroom wall from the Great Depression-era. Wow! It’s only a few thousand dollars now. The money was found while the contractor was tearing down the bathroom walls. He saw two metal green boxes with a return address of P. Dunne News. Then the contractor called his former classmate who told him to remodel the house to check it out. After some photo shoots, they wanted to share. There was a conflict then. Then the Dunne’s estate sued them for the right of the money. Then the house owner accused the contractor for stealing and began leaving voice mail saying bad things. She said that since it was in the house, she should keep it. Then it goes on and soon they come to a resolution and the court gave him a share.
